Dr. Robert Carell
Robert Carell D.V.M received his Bachelors Degree of Science from Cornell University in 1974. In 1978, Dr. Carell graduated from Cornell University’s School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, he completed his internship at the New Haven Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine the following year. He then joined the San Francisco Referral Group before opening the Animal Medical Center in 1984. Today, Dr. Carell is excited to expand his services at North Port St. Lucie Animal Hospital.
Nice clean building and friendly front desk people. Dr. Carell and Zack were very helpful and gentle with my cat when she was sick. Zack even helped me out to my car with her and called to check her. Very impressed.

I love this place! I have taken my cats here multiple times and have seen Dr. Mac and Dr. Carell. They’re both phenomenal vets that truly have the passion for caring and treating animals. From the receptionists to the vet techs, they all provide the best quality of care. Their prices are reasonable, they take the time to make your animals feel comfortable during exams, and they explain every detail needed for your animal’s treatment plan. I highly recommend this animal hospital and wouldn’t go anywhere else!
